Taking place for the 5th time on October 4-6 in Hof, northern Bavaria, is an art exhibition called “Hoftexplosion.” The skate area began 2 years ago with the construction of a skateable massive wave and beach trannies. The first outdoor concrete fingerboard park in Berlin came to be through another project from Ruben Young. The replication of Dogshit park stands directly by the spot, supported by Blackriver and hand shaped by Ruben. Every skatepark should have its mini replication on site. ;)
As part of a non-profit artistic project, we built Wavegarden skatepark in Selb with a group of 15 people, including Ruben Young and the Spoff crew. During the process of building, Ruben learned the basics of concrete and decided to build a miniature Wavegarden as fingerboardpark as his final project for his studies.
