Fabian grew up breathing fingerboarding. He started in 2005, when he was just ten years old, and became quickly a part of the legendary Austrian Fingaspeak crew.

After a 2 year pause, it was finally time to celebrate 20 years Blackriver, with Fast Fingers 20. The event took place on July 6, 2019, marking the 10th Fingerboard Worldmaster contest.
Taking place for the 5th time on October 4-6 in Hof, northern Bavaria, is an art exhibition called “Hoftexplosion.” The skate area began 2 years ago with the construction of a skateable massive wave and beach trannies. Recently added has been a collection of slappy curbs. The “Slappy Curb Contest” will take place on October 5 during Hoftexplosion.
In just 2 short weeks of building, and with the help of 28 volunteers and the support of Spoff parks, the Biberbowl came to be. This private bowl is located at our friend Lillith’s property, in northern Bavaria.
The first outdoor concrete fingerboard park in Berlin came to be through another project from Ruben Young. The replication of Dogshit park stands directly by the spot, supported by Blackriver and hand shaped by Ruben. Every skatepark should have its mini replication on site. ;)
